The AFC U-23 Asian Cup 2024 marks the 16 instance of this significant tournament, previously termed the AFC U-23 Championship until 2021. Organized by the Asian Football Confederation, this biennial competition for under-23 Asian men's national football teams is slated to take place from April 15 to May 3, 2024. This championship also qualifies as the AFC pathway to the 2024 Summer Olympics men's football tournament in France. The top 3 teams will represent AFC at the Olympics, with the fourth-best team advancing to the AFC–CAF playoff match. 16 teams will participate in the tournament, with Saudi Arabia entering as the defending champions.
