The 2024-2025 European Nations League A will be participated by 16 national teams, divided into 4 groups, each with 4 teams, and will play a home and away double round-robin system. The finals are divided into semi-finals, semi-finals, and finals. The top 2 of the group will play a 2-round semi-final, and the winner will advance to the semi-finals. The third place in the group will play against the second place in the B League group. The last place in each group will be relegated to the next European Nations League B. The 2024-2025 European Nations League B will be participated by 16 national teams, divided into 4 groups, each with 4 teams, and will play a home and away double round-robin system. In the end, the first place in the four groups will advance to the next European Nations League A. The second place in the group will play against the third place in the A League group, and the winner will advance to the A League. The third place in the group will play against the second place in the D League group, and the last place in each group will be relegated to the next European Nations League C. The 2024-2025 European Nations League C will be participated by 16 national teams, divided into 4 groups, each with 4 teams, and will play a home and away double round-robin system. In the end, the first place in the four groups will advance to the next European Nations League B. The second place in the group will compete with the third place in the group of League B for promotion and relegation, and the winner will advance to League B. The two lower-ranked fourth-placed teams in League C will be relegated to League D, and the two higher-ranked teams will compete with the second place in League D for promotion and relegation. The 2024-2025 European Nations League D will be participated by 6 national teams, divided into 2 groups, each with 3 teams, and will play a home and away double round-robin system. In the end, the first place in the two groups will advance to the next European Nations League C. The second place in the two groups will compete with the two highest-ranked fourth-placed teams in League C for promotion and relegation, and the winner will advance to League C. If the points are the same, the ranking will be based on the win-loss relationship first, and the ranking will be based on the goal difference advantage if the win-loss relationship is the same. The European Nations League will be held in the following format 1. 55 teams are divided into 4 levels, ABCD, according to their rankings. The first classification standard is determined based on the points ranking of each UEFA association. 2. The competition will be held in even-numbered years, and the competition will be played until the finals of the second year. 3. The league adopts a promotion and relegation system: the bottom 4 teams of Leagues A, B, and C will be relegated, and the 4 group champions of Leagues B, C, and D will be promoted. 4. If the league at this level cannot gather 4 teams to participate in the play-offs, the places will be filled according to the overall ranking of the national league.
